The festival of lights. Diwali is celebrated by over a billion people every year globally, and each region and religion celebrates it differently and for different reasons. For some, it’s a new year; a fresh start. For others, it’s the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. For the most part, Diwali is a celebration that culminates in good food, the company of wonderful family and friends, and holistic introspection.
